Transfer from Faro Airport to Vila Real de Santo António
Welcome to the Algarve!
After your welcome, we will drive you to Vila Real de Santo António, a cute little town situated on one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. Located in the eastern Algarve, it is surrounded by a magnificent stone pine forest. As soon as you arrive at your accommodation, use your free time to explore and experience the surroundings. Alternatively, enjoy a drink near the pool, taste a Mediterranean dish and indulge yourself in moments of complete relaxation and pure evasion.

Your adventure begins.
This will be the first ridding day! Prepare yourself to explore a region marked by years of history. Leave the hotel and ride along the dense pine forest. Then, you will cycle just across the natural border with Spain until Castro Marim. From its medieval castle settled in the rolling green landscape overlooking the river Guadiana, and not far away from the Atlantic Ocean, you will be able to enjoy panoramic views over the river, the marshland reserve, the hills, the salt flats, and over the surrounding gorgeous beaches. Enjoy the ride back to Praia Verde, crossing some of the "other Algarve", a region sparsely populated and rarely visited.

Discover one of the prettiest towns in the Algarve region.
After a delicious breakfast, another brilliant day is waiting for you. First, you will head to Cacela Velha, a picturesque coastal town with a fortress, from where you have one of the best views of the Ria Formosa (Natural Park). From here, you can also admire the beautiful Cacela Velha beach, already considered one of the best beaches in the world. A delight for your eyes. Then, from this point, you will ride along the Ria until Tavira. On the way, you will pass by several villages like Cabanas. Once a bustled fishing village, nowadays it's the perfect place to taste the typical cuisine and especially locally caught seafood and fish.

Exploring the hidden secrets of Algarve.
Today you will cycle along calm and serene roads, close to the Algarve mountains. Pass by small villages and ride along the old roads and rural paths, where you will find a vast area of orange trees. A perfect moment to use your senses and connect with the nature around you. Discover the beautiful “Pego do Inferno”, a small lagoon and waterfall surrounded by a refreshing arboreous area. Feel free to enjoy a refreshing swim before the ride back to Tavira, where you will be staying for another night.Alternatively, you can enjoy a leisure day, or experience an unforgettable boat tour along the Ria Formosa, a horse ride, or even go on a tour to a local distillery of medronho (not included).

A little gem on the Algarve coast!
After a great and fulfilling breakfast, you will start today’s journey in Tavira and ride along the incredible Ria Formosa, one of the most beautiful natural parks in the country. An absolute paradise for birdwatchers and part of the Natura 2000 Network. During this day, the views are the highlight of the program and provide for some epic sights. You will also pass by Fuzeta, a fishing village full of character, famous for its traditional clay pottery and lively harbor. Admire the spectacle of colorful fishing boats and watch the many local fishermen land their catches or fix their nets in front of their huts. A day close to the simple and traditional Portuguese life.

Today is a free day, but we suggest you experience Algarve. From its flavors to its traditions, it's time to connect yourself with this incredible region. Discover its genuine side by exploring its seasonal products and learning about the regional artisan production in a local Mediterranean cooking class. If you prefer, you can go for a walk on a desert island or simply enjoy a shellfish on a catamaran at sunset. Whatever your choice, it will be an unforgettable experience. Alternatively, you can cycle in the surroundings, discovering the true Algarve's essence, through the well-preserved interior, a place where the time slows down and everything looks peaceful.
