Transfer from Faro to Lagos
Welcome to Portugal!
Our guide will pick you up at the airport and drive you to your accommodation in Lagos. There, you’ll have a quick briefing given by our guide and the necessary equipment for the tour. Enjoy the rest of the day in this lovely town, and prepare for the upcoming days of adventure.
Hike from Lagos to Praia da Luz
The old, narrow streets of Lagos will be the starting point of your journey.
Heading towards the sea, you can still see evidence of the ancient wall surrounding the town. You will be delighted when you get to Ponta da Piedade, a group of rock formations carved by dense eroded cliffs that have carved out rocky pillars, natural tunnels, and hidden caves. Here, you can find some of the most beautiful natural sceneries of the Algarve coast. Later, you will encounter a small town that harbors a beautiful beach of pure golden sand that goes by the name of Luz. This is your resting scene for the day, filled with peace and quiet.
Hike from Praia da Luz to Salema
Experience and visit some quiet but lovely local villages and their fishing traditions.
The beach of Luz is just absolutely perfect! You can enjoy the quiet, beautiful beach or explore the Roman bath ruins built sometime between the 3rd and 5th centuries. These lie just behind the wall that runs along the promenade. What can we say about Salema? It's a fantastic, out-of-the-way, and laidback kind of town. An alternative village where you can enjoy the beach and the tasty local gastronomy based on fresh fish from the ocean.
Hike by Inland Villages near Salema
Today, you have many choices.
This is the perfect day to rest if you need it. Salema is a charming little town, and you can take advantage of this “rest day” to relax on our wonderful beaches. Otherwise, you can discover typical inland villages and amazing stone pinewood and add a few kilometers to your week. We have long and short options prepared for you and your fitness level. Take your time to choose and enjoy the day!
Hike from Salema / Zavial to Sagres
Today, there will be two options. Start your hike to Sagres in Salema or from Zavial after a short car transfer.
This day will be the most challenging day of the whole trip, but also the most spectacular one in natural beauty! Wander through unspoiled secret beaches with lagoons and a coastline almost untouched by man. You will find a landscape of rare beauty right there for you to discover while you walk along the trails on the cliffs. At Baleeira Bay, enjoy the amazing beach of fine sand and five small islands that give this place a unique charm.
Hike from Cabo de São Vicente to Sagres
On the last walking day, you will walk along the high cliffs of Sagres.
Discover Cabo de São Vicente - where the land ends and the sea begins! A stage for many past battles, Sagres is the southwesternmost point in Continental Europe and where our brave ancestors sailed on their caravels seeking new adventures and continents five centuries ago!
Transfer from Sagres to Faro
