Cycle Estremoz Loop to Fronteira / Sousel

On the first day, you will start cycling by pastoral fields.

The only sounds are the jingling bells from the flocks of bleating sheep. As you follow the rural landscape, you will pass by some villages with the typical Alentejo whitewashed homes outlined in blue and ochre trim. The wine culture will enter your path from the very first day, as you will visit a winery where you can taste different red and white wines. But be careful, not too much! You still have some kilometers to do until you get to the hotel.

Cycle from Estremoz to Vila Viçosa

The time has come to leave Vila Viçosa and ride towards the south, passing the village of Alandroal.

On the way, you will feel the delightful scent of the oleander flowers that grow on the shrubs and trees. The wood from these trees was used by local artisans. Arriving in Monsaraz, notice the presence of cultural history and medieval architecture. This village was occupied since the prehistoric era, and megalithic monuments are physical evidence of that.
